New Kats EP - You Owe Me Five Bucks - FREE Download!

Back again with his latest "last" solo effort, Kats steps up his game with You Owe Me Five Bucks, crafting 6 of his best songs to date, which feature SmutVillain on the wheels and Domer providing all the beats. The result is a cohesive and entertaining EP that stays true to the Kats formula - hot beats, memorable hooks and lyrics that range from introspection to battle raps. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Run Domer, Run...

I don't know if you've been noticing this, but Domer's been on a pretty amazing run for the past year or two...Vaguest Vacation, Business Casual, Underbelly, Bohemian Rap CD and Flaming Clipse...all since we launched FreeIceCream.net in '08! And that's just albums he produced in their entirety...there's other tracks and remixes sprinkled throughout our catalog...and a whole batch of unreleased beats that are shaping up to become the next (and soon to be released) solo Kats project. The point...? Just bragging!

The Flaming Clipse!

FreeIceCream.net co-founder and rapper/producer Domer is back with another pun-tastic remix creation. Combining the dirty south raps of Virginia natives Clipse with the epic sonic wash of indie-rock innovators The Flaming Lips, Domer has carefully blended the best of both worlds for this surprising remix/mashup experiment. Special thanks to Mark Forscher for the artwork!

Last week the five participants in Bohemian Rap CD - Jake Lefco, IllSpokinn, Ryan-O'Neil, Kats & Domer - sat down for an interview with Adam B. You can check it out here: READ INTERVIEW!

It's one of several very nice write-ups we've gotten for this project. If you're interested to see what some people think of our latest release, check out a few of the following links:

There's been quite a few more, so if you just can't get enough...Google us!

Now some news...we have a show coming up at Bowery Poetry Club on Thursday, April 29th. Each artist involved in the Bohemian Rap CD project will be performing a solo set, followed by a live performance of Bohemian Rap CD. If you missed the Album Release at The Bell House, you won't want to miss this one...it's very hard to get all five of us together for a show, so we can't promise too many more of these!
